Post Office
Boultham Moor, Lincoln
asked the Postmaster-General whether he will consider opening a sub-post office at Boultham Moor, Lincoln.
I am having inquiries made and will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
Welsh National Stamp (Committee)
asked the Postmaster-General when he will appoint a Welsh Committee to advise on designs for the new national stamp for Wales.
The Committee has been formed and will be meeting shortly. My hon. Friend may like to know that the members are:

Hungarian Refugees (Asylum)
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if Her Majesty's Government will now offer asylum and help to Hungarian refugees; and for how many.
Her Majesty's Government have decided to authorise the admission of 2,500 Hungarian refugees to this country and have discussed with the British Council for Aid to Refugees (which represents the principal voluntary organisations concerned with refugees entering the United Kingdom) arrangements for organising the reception and care of the refugees in this country and placing them in suitable employment wherever this is possible. Her Majesty's Government have also agreed, subject to the approval of Parliament, to provide a grant of up to £10,000 to meet approved administrative expenses incurred by the Council in connection with this scheme, which is being put into effect forthwith.
