Work on the Castleton/ Coryton section should be completed early in 1980. Work on the main contracts for the Bridgend Northern By-Pass started this year and should be completed at the end of 1980.Draft line and side roads orders for the Baglan/Lonlas section (the last remaining section) will be published shortly. Subject to the satisfactory completion of statutory procedures and the availability of funds, construction should start in 1981 and the road should be opened at the end of 1983.House adjourned at one minute before seven o'clock.
