The Ulster Museum and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland have agreed that this exhibition will be shown in the Arts Council gallery and the Ulster Museum galleries during December, at dates to be announced. The exhibition will be divided between the two galleries, but approximately three-quarters of the exhibition will be shown at the Ulster Museum.

asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether the United Nations peacekeeping force in Southern Lebanon has fulfilled its mandate to return the area to the Lebanese Government and, if not, what is the reason for the delay.

An interim report by the United Nations Secretary-General on the activities of the United Nations peace-keeping force in Lebanon published on 18th November makes clear that the complete deployment of the United Nations interim force in Lebanon and thus the progressive re-establishment of the Lebanese Government's authority has been blocked by lack of co-operation on the part of Lebanese de facto forces in the area and also of the Government of Israel.

asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether any research establishment near Salisbury now or formerly used by the Ministry of Defence has been taken over by the Department of Health and Social Security and, if so, its location and future purpose.

It is proposed that the Microbiological Research Establishment, Porton, at present part of the Ministry of Defence, should be managed as a civil establishment by the Public Health Laboratory Service Board from 1st April 1979. It will then become known as the Centre for Applied Microbiology and Research, and a health orientation will be given to its programme of work in microbiology and work which can suitably be carried on in conjunction with microbiology. The Public Health Laboratory Service Bill, designed to permit the transfer of management responsibility, received its Second Reading in the House of Lords on 30th November.

asked Her Majesty's Government:To what extent control over heavy lorries has passed to the EEC; and what decisions in this field are likely to come before the Council of Ministers in the next three months.

EEC measures in several fields impinge on heavy lorries. Those which have already been adopted include provisions on such matters as smoke, noise, lighting, braking, rear-view mirrors, rear protection devices, speedometers, radio interference, roadworthiness testing and lorry drivers' hours.Measures now under discussion would provide not only for the control of lorry weights and dimensions but also for the adjustment of national lorry taxation systems and for the amendment of the existing Directives on rear protection devices and on braking. Some of these may come before the Council of Ministers in the next three months. Measures not agreed by the Council of Ministers remain within the sole jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.

Yes. The Leicestershire County Council have recently been appointed to investigate alternative ways of improving the A.47 at Wardley Hill.
