asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many persons are engaged on whole-time research into the learning processes of the severely subnormal in Scotland.

The term "severely subnormal" has no statutory meaning in Scotland. I am not aware of any whole- time workers employed in research into the learning processes of persons who might be so described.
