To ask the Secretary of State for Justice when his Department will publish revised draft rules to replace the Secure Training Centre Rules (Amendment) Rules 2007. (235936)

We have applied to the House of Lords for permission to appeal against the court’s decision and await a decision on the application.

The effect of the Court of Appeal’s decision to quash the Secure Training Centre (Amendment) Rules 2007 was to reinstate Rule 38 as it read before the 2007 amendment.
