To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what access local authorities will have to geodata from mobile telephone use under the Interception Modernisation Programme. (236500)

Under the s21(4) (b)(c) Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, local authorities can only access service use and subscriber data. This does not include geo-data and there are no plans to change this.
