To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the owner of the Movie Star Cafe, Belfast met his obligations as an employer with regard to (a) the Inland Revenue, (b) National Insurance and (c) the Minimum Wage, in relation to the female foreign nationals who were discovered by the Immigration Service in Belfast on 18 December 2002. The Inland Revenue"s responsibilities include collecting National Insurance and enforcing the National Minimum Wage obligations. Because of the Inland Revenue"s strict rules of confidentiality, details in respect of specific cases cannot be prodded.
